As you all know that society, state, country and world is getting very small because of science and technology. For the future generation it is very much necessary to know English language. So, the question is what led to the development of children of individuals with modest incomes? Do they not have the right to receive education in English medium? But many children don’t get chance to fulfill their Desire and aspiration because of their parent’s income, But Thinking of our trustees of this charitable organization is like that lotus that blooms only in the mud. So, the organization has started the English medium school on the basis of no loss no profit in New-BHACHAU. The school has been running since 10 years. Access to education is being provided from L.K.G to standard 10. About 600 children are studying here with beautiful facilities. Organization is also thinking to extend to higher secondary education in the school, in order to satisfy the hunger of the Needy children who are willing to study ahead.
The Gujarati medium Primary, Secondary & Higher Secondary school which is managed by our institute was built with the help & guidance of SHRIMATI MADHUBEN THAKERSI BHAI PATEL SYMPOLO CERAMIC, MORBI. Now we have classes from STD 5th to 12th. All primary, secondary and higher secondary school facilities are available in our institute so that the students of hostel get their education and avail all help in the campus itself. So far more than 750 Students have taken advantage from here.
In the girls hostel we have students from different caste, disabilities and from the poor family background. They spend their time in hostel in different activities along with their studies. They are provided with free basic Quality of Education and other facilities without any discrimination of caste and creed. They can complete their education from 5th to 12th class without any difficulty. Till now more than 900 girls have taken the benefits of the hostel. There are 50 girls presently studying in our organization. They get healthy meal 3 times a day, along with good food they are provided with excellent hostel facilities.
Our motive is “To provide bright & right education and shelter to more girls in future for the betterment of their life”.
With educationally support food & accommodation to boys who are from economically weaker background students from rural area find it difficult continue their education due to lack of money, proper environment and availability of good infrastructure & good counseling. Our trust took this as a challenge to help these types of peoples to complete their education with providing all the facility like food, accommodation, education in Bhachau- Kutch. We provide the hostel facility to the Boys. The hostel would provide basic infrastructure to the inmates. With the help of volunteers the trust provides coaching classes, computer classes, and other sports activities to our students. We also provide counseling for mentally disturbed students and bring back to their normal life. With proper guidance and education we feel students would be able to mould their future and better standard of living. With this students are able to get a good job opportunity in the outside world and shape up their life for the future. And create their own identity without depending in others. We provide free food & boarding facilities for them. Till today approximately 325 boys have taken advantage of it. Now nearly 50 boys are there in the hostel. With all these we are trying to spread the light and make their life bright. It is said that "Writing on a blank slate looks beautiful”. Similarly, when the children of uneducated and rural people study here they look beautiful. They are being trained and molded in a fashion that they may be a blessing for the development of our nation.
KIlkilat M.R School is Managed by Shri Navjivan Viklang Sevashray (Halvad) is a residential school of mentally retarded children. Our Ngo Shri Navjivan Viklang Sevashray is working for disabled and mentally retarded peoples since 1991. It comprises of like-minded volunteers who are concerned about mentally challenged and retarded people and give their valuable time for their mental health. It is located in Halvad of Morbi district in Gujarat. Geographical area of taluka: Halvad is surrounded by sea and desert area, where the community of "Agariya" (Salt maker) is high, and it is found that children of this community or Salt makers are born disabled. So we are working in this area so that needy people can get help and support. We run Residential school for mentally retarded children’s where every year more than 50 mentally retarded children’s are been served. We work major for Mentally Retarded peoples as per the need of this area. All services are participative and confidential. Shri Navjivan Viklang Sevashray operates in & around Halvad of Morbi District for Viklang who are weak & without a proper support base and Mentally Challenged as well as Retarded. The trust conducts Non-Addiction Campaigns, Campaigns for Education of Orphan Child, supports Handicapped Children along with Awareness Programs for such Children. So far, more than 500 children have been taking advantage of the organization. Our specially trained teachers also counsel children’s parents to treat with their special need wards. They also give following knowledge such as bathing, washing clothes, buttons, bands, hair combing, systematically meal, sitting in the discipline etc. These teachers are appointed by government of India and they are registered under (R.C.I) rehabilitation counseling of India. This provides important training that could lead to self-sufficiency in the lives of such children’s.
Shri Navjivan Viklang Sevashray has organized Medical Assessment Camp for Peoples with Disabilities in Differentareas of Kutch and Morbi District. After the assessment of disable beneficiaries by doctor and medical team, beneficiaries are given the medical certificate which is the basic document for any PWD for getting any help fromgovernment. The camp held in order to access the nature and level of disabilities so as to provide aids and appliances to the needy Peoples in order to assist and support them in their studies and other government schemes,to give equal opportunity for education & empowerment as it is a fundamental right for every person with disabilities to get free and compulsory education and empowerment for their rehabilitation. In year 2020-21 wehave organized Total 9 Medical camps in Bhachau, Rapar, Gandhidham, Anjar, Adesar in Kutch district and 2 camps in Halvad, 1-1 in Morbi and Thangadh in Morbi District.
After the assessment of disable beneficiaries by doctor and medical team, beneficiaries are given the medical certificate which is the basic document for any PwDs for getting any help from government. "Unique ID for Persons with Disabilities” project is being implemented with a view of creating a National Database for PwDs, and to issue a Unique Disability Identity Card to each person with disabilities. The project will not only encourage transparency, efficiency and ease of delivering the government benefits to the person with disabilities, but also ensure uniformity. The project will also help in stream-lining the tracking of physical and financial progress of beneficiary at all levels of hierarchy of implementation – from village level, block level, District level , State level and National level. In year 2021-2022 more than 1000 Medical Certificates are provided by our our Ngo.
Divyangjan ST Bus Pass Railway Pass
In this Scheme divyangjan is been given benefit of free travel within the limits of Gujarat State in all types of buses of Gujarat State Road Transport. Eligibility criteria: A person with 50% or more disability. Our Organization help Divyangjan for applying in this scheme and getting this ST pass as it’s very necessary for them for travelling. In year 2021-22 more than 198 passes is been issued by our organization.
Sant Surdas Yojana (Disability Pension Scheme)
The Sant Surdas Yojana has been implemented by the Social Justice and Empowerment Department GujaratSJED to provide financial assistance to a person with severe disability, for the holistic development of the disabled as well as for their rehabilitation in the society by providing them financial assistance. Under this scheme disabled beneficiaries are given a monthly pension of Rs. 600 (six hundred rupees). This assistance is credited to the beneficiary's bank account through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer). Our Organization helps Diivyangjan for feeling this form online and be a bridge between Govt organization and Divyangjan. In year 2021-22 we have helped 234 beneficiaries to get this benefit of Sant Surdas Yojna.
Shri Navjivan Viklang Sevashray offers free of cost aids and appliances including Electric Tricycle, crutches, wheelchairs, Tricycle calipers and artificial limbs to the needy Divyangjan. Scheme is to assist the needy disabled persons in procuring durable, sophisticated and scientifically manufactured, modern, standard aids and appliances that can promote their physical, social and psychological rehabilitation, by reducing the effects of disabilities and enhance their economic potential. The aids and appliances supplied under the Scheme shall conform to BIS specifications to the extent possible. Every year we conduct 3-4 mega Aids & Appliances distribution program in Kutch- Morbi District of Gujarat. In which on average more than 1000 beneficiaries are covered by us. In year 2021-22, 39 Battery operated Electric Tricycle(First Time in Kutch) , and crutches, wheelchairs, Tricycle calipers were distributed with the CSR Initiative of Indian Oil Corporation of India (IOCL) - Kandla. In upcoming days 600 divyangjan of Eastern Part of Kutch will be given different equipments by Shri Navjivan Viklang Sevashray.
Shri Navjivan Viklang Sevashray, a nonprofit organization (NGO) organizes mass wedding ceremonies for the underprivileged and differently-abled. Our aim is to break the perception of the society towards the wedding of the differently-abled. The NGO has organized 01 Mass Wedding Ceremonies since its establishment and 11 differently-abled couples were married 2017.
Shri Navjivan Viklang Sevashray aims at eradicating the challenges faced by the differently-abled people to find life partners who can understand their thoughts, viewpoints, lifestyles, and ready to spend complete life with each other. The nonprofit organizations (NGO) also take steps to arrange meetings for the differently-abled person and help them to know each other better. It is a platform where every individual has equal opportunities to choose their life partners and combine two families.
Finding love or a life partner is one of the biggest challenges for a physically disabled person in India. It’s very difficult for physically disabled people to get married in India and almost negligible and those that are there also do not help handicapped people get married in India. A person could become handicapped due to any reason, but this should not affect their ability to find love or a life partner.
Cultural, sports and leisure (CSL) activities are very important for achieving the inclusion and full participation of people with disabilities in all communities around the world. CSL can also include sports and adapted physical activities which are non-competitive and which promote movement and well-being. CSL activities can greatly improve self-confidence, a sense of belonging and empowerment, and physical and psychological well-being.
Shri Navjivan Viklang Sevashray enriching the lives of people with disabilities by providing equal sports opportunities and empowering them to lead a fulfilling life. We aim to create inclusive sports culture by enabling people with disability individuals to participate in sports programs. We believe that sports benefits all equally and our program enable all the participants to not only improve their physical and social skills and promote healthy lifestyle but also build friendships through sports. We conduct Disable athletic meet, State Level Blind Cricket Tournament, State Level Orthopedic Handicap Peoples Cricket Tournament and many more sports program for individuals with Intellectual Disabilities and Special Needs.

People with disabilities need skills to engage in livelihood activities. But they start with a number of disadvantages. Their families and communities may assume that they are unable to engage in such activities. They often lack access to basic education, making them unqualified to join skills training courses. These disadvantages frequently result in a lack of skills, as well as low confidence, expectations and achievement. Different types of skills are required for successful work. They include foundation skills acquired through education and family life, technical and professional skills which enable a person to undertake a particular activity or task, business skills required to succeed in self-employment and core life skills, including attitudes, knowledge and personal attributes.
The role of Shri Navjivan Viklang Sevashray is to enable people with disabilities to access work opportunities, by actively promoting and facilitating the acquisition of relevant knowledge, skills and attitudes.
Youth and adults with disabilities have access to a range of training opportunities and acquire marketable skills, decent work (waged employment or self-employment) and income.
Girls and women with disabilities have equal opportunities for skills development with boys and men.
Mainstream providers of vocational and skills training have policies and practices that ensure people with disabilities have access to the training provided.
People with disabilities have access to support services -vocational guidance, placement services, assistive devices and adapted equipment.
People with disabilities have access to advanced skills development opportunities required to progress in their work.
This Inclusive Educational plan is guided by the central and state government and is given to us in different locations of Gujarat like CHOTILA, MALIYA, WANKANER, THAN & MORBI. We are so proud that government has given us such a great opportunity for the Educational plan. Under this plan, organization guides children for their future & studies. Children are also guided to get their medical certificate by which they can get admission in schools as a special child and get education from the special teachers appointed by government. Children get education up to 12th standard under this plan, free of cost. With the help of our organization mentally & physically challenged children get free education for the betterment of their life. Our organization will always be helpful to these types of children and for the betterment of the children. Organization also guides children in the field of sports and bring their inner strength & stability in front of society. Under this plan, more than 500 children have the advantage for making their life happy. Last year 10 blind & 12 mentally retarded children have passed out under the guidance of our teachers & organization. Last year Rs.4,75,000/- has been won by children for showing their talents in the field of sports.
Women's Wellness & multipurpose Center which is in BHACHAU, NAKHATRANA & BHUJ, are the units funded by the Women and Child Department of the State Government to our organization. 75% of the expenses incurred is borne by the state government and the rest of the 25% cost is bore by organization. Organization guides the girls and women in different villages through different activities for their lives. Organization gives information and help to women to make them self-sufficient. Centre goes door to door teaching women their rights for being self-reliable. Centre gives them training for self-employment and small-scale works. In future, organization is thinking for the betterment of the rural groups & families. Various women-oriented programs are conducted through these centers. Assistance of women in remote villages through these centers is unheard of from the various schemes of the Government. The dowry victim woman or the victim who was harassed by her husbands or their family is been legally resolved by our Center. Legal aid is provided by the court in domestic violence cases. Attempts are made to raise their voice against exploitation and violence, and women's self-employment training programs are also organized to help women become self-sufficient.
